Autism or ADHD Coaching
Many of NCBCoalition’s members are proudly neurodivergent and/ or members of minority communities.
NCBC offers coaching to Autistic and or ADHD individuals, seeking mentorship and guidance. Contact information for all coalition members can be found on our ‘who we are’ page.
Coaching can help people work through navigating neurotypical society, overcome environmental or personal barriers, identify neurodivergent traits and strengths, validate personal experiences, and contact their authentic selves.
Information on Coaching
-
All are welcome to reach out to see if coaching is the right fit for you!
Factors that affect eligibility may include:
People under the age of 18 years need permission from their parent or guardian.
An autism diagnosis is not required for coaching, but may be required if using an ABA insurance benefit for coverage of costs.
Don’t forget that NCBC offers a slide scale for costs if coaching is not covered by your insurance.
A person’s mental health needs may surpass the scope of NCBC’s coaching services.
If that is true, coaching may be appropriate only if it is part of a more comprehensive package of care with professionals outside of NCBC.
